• This item fits a vent, which is 6 inches wide by 14 inches long. In order for the register to fit is the vent, the damper box needs to be smaller than the vent opening, approximately 5.75 inches wide by 13.75 inches long, and the face plate needs to be oversized, approximately 7.5 inches wide by 15.5 inches long, to fully cover the vent opening.
